Microblading: How It All Shifted
Have we realized how much evolution the art of make – up had been through? We can see a vast difference from how it was done back in the 1900s up until now. If we want to pinpoint a specific part of our face that evolved the most, I think eyebrows will be on top of the list. Nowadays, the sought-after look is the full natural-looking grown eyebrows which is gaining popularity rather than the pencil thin brows that had en vogue back in the days. Can you still imagine the possibility of the tweezer – loved brows to be fashioned back today? The transition from plucking the life out of our eyebrows to fully allowing them to grow as naturally as possible has waned and coursed throughout the history of make – up. The brow filling trend has completely shifted from simpler and less exciting brows to full, bush and lush brows. The question that we must answer now is how do we attain a classy and trendy looking eyebrows?
What is Microblading?
Microblading is type of eyebrow architecture. It is a form of semi-permanent tattoo to make your eyebrows look fuller and natural. You can say microblading is a tattoo, but at the same time, it is not. The dye used in microblading isn’t the same from the dye used when you get a tattoo. To add, microblading does not use tattoo gun but a small tool with tiny needles.
How is Microblading done?
Microblading is a way to personalize your eyebrows. First, you need to have a qualified and licensed esthetician that has undergone series of training. The dye is less concentrated which gives the brow a softer and more natural look.

As it was said, microblading is not permanent. The dye used doesn’t last forever as it will be eventually metabolized by the body and immediately fades away. It will also depend on your skin type.
